Position Summary

Our organization specializes in evidence-based behavioral therapies aimed at assisting children with autism spectrum disorders. Our goal is to enhance the independence and quality of life for our clients and their families.

The Clinical Supervisor (BCBA) is responsible for providing clinical expertise, leadership, and guidance to ensure the success of each assigned client case.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure that client families receive consistent, high-quality clinical services, leading to significant client progress and satisfaction with our organization.
  • Deliver direct services, including Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBAs), oversee assigned client cases, and provide consultation for cases managed by other Clinical Supervisors (BCBA).
  • Support the professional development of your clinical team, offering oversight, feedback, mentoring, and encouragement to foster the growth of Program Managers and Interventionists.
  • Maintain a minimum of 5 billable hours per workday (25 hours per week/110 hours per month).
  • Supervise the Program Manager team to ensure they achieve a minimum of 28 billable hours per week (120 hours per month).
  • Provide clinical supervision in line with BACB standards to ensure treatment integrity and quality assurance across various clients and funding sources, including direct observation and necessary protocol adjustments.
  • Conduct developmental skills assessments (e.g., ABLLS-R, AFLS, VB-MAPP) to create and evaluate individualized treatment plans.
  • Document and supervise RBTs, BCaBAs, and BCBA candidates in accordance with BACB standards.
  • Perform Functional Behavioral Assessments and Functional Analyses to develop function-based treatment strategies.
  • Offer constructive feedback and performance assessments to clinical team members, including Behavior Interventionists and Program Supervisors/Managers.
  • Provide training to teachers, technicians, parents, and others using Behavior Skills Training (BST), which includes discussion, modeling, practice, and feedback.
  • Attend Individualized Education Plan (IEP) meetings and interdisciplinary team discussions, presenting proposed goals, behavioral interventions, and necessary modifications.
  • Collaborate with school staff by observing students, providing written programming and behavioral recommendations, and implementing necessary training and follow-up support.
Required Skills
  • Strong skills in ABA and clinical practices
  • Self-motivated with the ability to consistently manage client appointments and team meetings
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with attention to grammar and clarity
  • Effective time management, balancing billable and non-billable hours, as well as direct and indirect supervision
  • Excellent interpersonal skills for building rapport with clients and colleagues
  • Team-oriented with a strong customer service focus, committed to serving client families and colleagues
  • Able to provide and accept constructive feedback
  • Bilingual abilities are a plus, with Spanish preferred
