Job Summary:
This ICU (Intensive Care Unit) RN position is located in Morgantown, West Virginia. The role involves providing critical care to patients with neurological and other complex diagnoses during 12-hour night shifts from 7 PM to 7 AM. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day. This assignment begins on 07/20/2026.

Job Details:

• Location: Morgantown, WV
• Shift: 12-hour nights, 7 PM to 7 AM; weekends and holidays as scheduled
• Schedule: 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications; minimum of 2 years of ICU and critical care experience; active license (willing to wait for licensure); experience with critical care procedures and titration of drips such as Levophed, phenylephrine, Versed, paralytics, heparin, insulin, nicardipine, and vasoactive medications.
• Preferred Qualifications: ICU experience and critical care skills.
• Additional Information:
  • Vaccination against COVID-19 required; fully vaccinated means either 2 doses of Moderna or Pfizer or 1 dose of J&J.
  • Must have a driver's license outside of 50 miles from the facility.
  • Candidates with previous permanent or travel assignments at the facility for the specified durations must wait two years before reapplying.
  • Submission is limited to two candidates per opening.
  • The unit is equipped with vents, BiPAP, high flow nasal cannula, and monitor techs read strips.
  • An intensivist is in-house during the day with on-call coverage at night.
  • No telemonitoring is available on the unit.
  • Placed on holidays as needed, but not every holiday.
• Special Notes:
  • This position is within a Level III ICU setting with a 2:1 nurse-to-patient ratio.
  • The hospital has a charge nurse or house supervisor available.
