Plumbing Project Manager

Snapshot / Role Overview
We're seeking a Plumbing Project Manager in Chicago Metro to oversee commercial plumbing projects from preconstruction through final inspection.

Impact

Deliver complex plumbing systems on time and on budget.

Ensure code compliance and quality installation standards.

Coordinate effectively with general contractors and trades.

Build lasting client relationships and repeat business.

Responsibilities

Manage all aspects of commercial plumbing projects.

Coordinate material procurement and subcontractor schedules.

Review submittals, shop drawings, and equipment selections.

Conduct site visits and monitor installation progress.

Manage project budgets, change orders, and billing.

Resolve field issues and coordinate with engineers.

Ensure compliance with plumbing codes and safety standards.

Mentor field supervisors and assistant project managers.

Requirements
Must-Haves:

5+ years managing commercial plumbing projects.

Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, codes, and installation methods.

Experience with project budgeting and cost control.

Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Valid driver's license.

Nice-to-Haves:

Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field.

Master Plumber license.

Experience with medical gas, process piping, or specialty systems.

Proficiency with Procore, Bluebeam, or project management software.

Compensation & Logistics
Competitive salary depending on experience; benefits include health insurance, PTO, paid holidays, 401(k), and company vehicle allowance. This full-time role is based in the Chicago Metro area.
