Box Truck Driver

divh2Box Truck Driver/h2pWe are seeking a reliable and safety-focused Box Truck Driver to join our team in Rochester. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering cylinders and a variety of products to customer locations in a timely and professional manner. This position also involves loading and unloading the truck efficiently to ensure prompt deliveries and customer satisfaction./pulliOrganize delivery tickets according to assigned delivery routes./liliUpload daily delivery tickets into the handheld device./liliConduct daily pre-trip truck inspections in compliance with DOT regulations; complete all necessary hazardous materials documentation./liliRefuel the truck as needed throughout the day./liliDeliver products to customer locations, obtaining signatures on all delivery tickets./liliCollect payments on Cash-on-Delivery (COD) accounts when applicable./liliPick up empty cylinders and authorize return merchandise from customers./liliAccurately complete trip sheets after each stop, noting delivery times, products delivered, and returned items./liliUnload truck at the plant at the end of each shift./liliPerform daily post-trip inspections in compliance with DOT regulations./liliSecure and park the truck properly at the end of the day./liliUpload handheld device data to the central computer system./liliReturn all merchandise and completed forms to the designated check-in area./liliSubmit all paperwork to the Billing Department for verification and processing./li/ulpRequirements/pulliValid Commercial Drivers License (CDL), Class B or higher./liliCurrent Hazardous Materials (Hazmat) Endorsement./liliForklift Certification (in-house training available, if not currently certified)./li/ulpKnowledge, Skills and Other Abilities/pulliMechanical abilities./liliAbility to communicate professionally with customers and co-workers./liliBasic math skills./liliBasic computer skills/knowledge of a handheld device./li/ulpBenefits/pulli401(k) matching/liliDental insurance/liliDisability insurance/liliEmployee discount/liliHealth insurance/liliHealth savings account/liliLife insurance/liliOn-the-job training/liliOpportunities for advancement/liliPaid time off/liliVision insurance/li/ulpIrish Companies is committed to a policy of Equal Employment Opportunity with respect to all employees and applicants for employment.
