Golden Pet Brands builds pet nutrition brands and is hiring an Associate Video Editor into its video content creation team, based hybrid across El Segundo and Burbank or North Hollywood, California. The role optimises pre-existing winning creatives and builds mashup ads, making marketing videos designed to grab attention on Facebook and YouTube and convert viewers into customers. Day to day it covers editing and exporting short- and long-form optimisations in 4x5, 9x16 and 16x9 for retail and social platforms, shooting footage on iPhone for thumb-stoppers, analysing video performance data and suggesting creative adjustments, and creating multiple edit variations from existing footage based on that data. The editor collaborates with producers, offer managers and creative directors, manages workload against schedules, and helps craft brand storytelling across videos of varying lengths.
