General Production Worker

Job Description

This role focuses on assembling metal carts for a variety of customers using both hand and power tools. You will work in a production environment where you assemble products and operate equipment safely, efficiently, and ergonomically, while consistently manufacturing quality parts and assemblies.

Responsibilities

• Assemble metal carts and related products according to specifications and quality standards.

• Use hand tools and power tools to perform assembly tasks safely and efficiently.

• Read and interpret basic measurements using a tape measure to ensure accurate assembly.

• Operate production equipment in a safe, productive, and ergonomically correct manner.

• Follow established manufacturing processes to produce quality parts and assemblies.

• Maintain a clean and organized work area to support safety and productivity.

• Adhere to all safety guidelines and use appropriate protective equipment as required.

• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet daily production goals.

• Report any equipment issues, safety concerns, or quality problems promptly.

• Support general production and general labor tasks as needed to keep operations running smoothly.

Essential Skills

• Experience with assembly work in a production or manufacturing environment.

• Ability to use hand tools confidently and safely.

• Ability to operate power tools safely and correctly.

• Proficiency in using a tape measure and working with basic measurements.

• Understanding of general labor and general production practices.

• Commitment to safe, productive, and ergonomically correct equipment operation.

• Ability to consistently manufacture quality parts and assemblies.

• Reliability in attendance and punctuality to support production schedules.

Work Environment

This is a first-shift position, working Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. The role is based at a small site with approximately 20 employees, offering a close-knit team atmosphere. The facility is non-climate-controlled and can be loud, so you should be comfortable working in a dynamic industrial environment with appropriate protective equipment as required.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.47 - $18.47/hr.
