Magnum Piering in Cincinnati, OH is seeking to hire a full-time Forklift Operator to play an essential role in our success of our manufacturing facility. This is a 40+ hour per week position with a typical schedule of Monday-Friday, 6am-4pm. If you like overtime but still like your weekends then this is the place for you!

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A FORKLIFT OPERATOR

As a forklift operator, you are responsible for safely transporting loose pipe and goods packed on pallets, in crates, or banded around the facility.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Must have a high degree of attention to prevent injury to others.
• Must be able to sit regularly on powered industrial truck, up to 10 hours a day.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Must be able to bend, stoop, stand, walk, turn, pivot, and stand for long periods of time.
• Must be able to assess weights and judge distance and heights.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Ability to work in varying temperatures, depending on season.
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test
• Minimum 1 year Forklift experience required
• Great attitude and willingness to work as a team

WORKING ENVIRONMENT

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration. The employee is exposed to a variety of temperatures depending on the season. The noise level in the work environment can be loud. The employee is exposed to outside weather conditions. This position may be required to perform functions of the General Labor job description as needed.
