Senior Associate, Strategy & Operations - Commerce Platform

About The Team DoorDash Commerce Platform is our company’s hypergrowth fulfillment platform serving restaurants, grocers, and retailers across the United States and abroad. The platform enables first‑party ecommerce fulfillment for our partners. About The Role As a Senior Associate on our Commerce Platform Growth Strategy & Operations team, you will drive growth and success across our key accounts. You will own strategy, launch partners, and develop go‑to‑market plans while collaborating cross‑functionally to bring solutions forward and optimise merchant experiences. Responsibilities Build and own high‑priority projects to drive growth and adoption. Develop deep relationships with merchant partners and act as the primary point of contact. Create go‑to‑market strategies based on product fit, value proposition, pricing, and competitive landscape. Guide operational improvements by translating merchant feedback into product roadmap decisions. Influence cross‑functional teams—including Product, Engineering, Finance, Analytics, Support, Sales, and Account Management—to scale initiatives. Experiment and test revenue, cost, and quality drivers to support continuous improvement. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree or higher. 3+ years of experience in consulting, strategy, or operations; early‑stage startup or entrepreneurial experience is a plus. Expert communication and interpersonal skills. Strong analytical mindset capable of deriving actionable recommendations from complex data. Bias toward action and ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, constantly changing environment. Charisma to build relationships with external partners and internal teams. Willingness to take ownership, shape vision, and embrace feedback. Comfortable exercising discretion and independent judgment in performing job duties. Compensation and Benefits Pay range: $87,000—$128,000 USD, depending on experience and location. The role includes base salary and opportunities for equity grants.
