Scope of Project: The project involves the design, implementation, administration, monitoring, and optimization of the organization's enterprise network infrastructure, including LAN, WAN, VPN, and wireless networks. The resource will be responsible for ensuring network reliability, security, performance, scalability, and availability through proactive monitoring, troubleshooting, capacity planning, and architecture improvements. Responsibilities include maintaining network documentation, analyzing network traffic and usage trends, supporting disaster recovery and business continuity initiatives, implementing redundancy and failover solutions, resolving complex network issues, collaborating with cross-functional IT teams, recommending technology enhancements, and preparing reports on network health, incidents, and performance metrics to support operational and strategic objectives.

Responsibilities:

• Plan, design, and configure LAN, WAN, VPN, and wireless networks.
• Ensure network architecture meets organizational security and performance requirements.
• Monitor network performance using tools and dashboards.
• Maintain network documentation (topology diagrams, IP address schemes, configurations).
• Diagnose and resolve network connectivity issues. Provide Tier 2/Tier 3 support for escalated network problems.
• Collaborate with helpdesk and system administrators for cross-functional issues. Analyze network traffic and usage trends.
• Recommend upgrades or changes to improve performance and scalability.
• Plan for future growth and emerging technologies.
• Develop and maintain network disaster recovery plans.
• Ensure redundancy and failover mechanisms are in place.
• Maintain accurate records of network configurations and changes.
• Prepare reports on network health, incidents, and performance metrics.

Required/Preferred Skills:

• Minimum 7 years of experience planning, designing, configuring, and supporting LAN, WAN, VPN, and wireless network infrastructures.
• Minimum 7 years of experience ensuring network architecture meets organizational security, availability, scalability, and performance requirements.
• Minimum 7 years of experience maintaining comprehensive network documentation, including topology diagrams, configuration standards, procedures, and operational documentation.
• Minimum 7 years of experience monitoring, analyzing, and troubleshooting network traffic, bandwidth utilization, and usage trends to optimize network performance.
• Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience with cloud networking technologies in AWS and/or Microsoft Azure environments.
• Minimum 7 years of experience preparing and presenting reports on network health, incident trends, capacity planning, uptime, and performance metrics.
• Strong experience managing and supporting server infrastructure, including Windows and/or Linux servers, virtualization platforms, storage systems, and related enterprise technologies.
• Experience with network security technologies including firewalls, IDS/IPS, network segmentation, access controls, and VPN solutions.
• Proficiency with network monitoring, diagnostics, and performance management tools.
• Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and root cause analysis skills in enterprise network environments.
