Overview Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) – Long-Term Care, Lewiston, Maine. This travel assignment starts 06/29/2026 and runs for 13 weeks on a 3x12 Nights schedule (7:00 p.m.–7:00 a.m.). Weekly pay ranges from $1,642 to $1,741, with no guaranteed hours. The role is in a hospital setting providing care across long-term care and rehabilitation units for residents needing ongoing or short-term support. Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments per the resident care plan, including wound care as needed and IV therapy if trained.
• Monitor resident status, document assessments and interventions, and communicate changes to the care team.
• Provide direct and indirect nursing care, assist with activities of daily living, safety, and infection-control practices.
• Collaborate with residents, families, and a multidisciplinary team to support therapeutic goals and discharge planning as appropriate.
• Participate in ongoing geriatric assessments and adapt care to residents with Alzheimer’s/dementia and other chronic conditions.
• Be flexible to float to other units within the unit-based hospital environment as needed and support a team-oriented workflow.

Requirements

• Active Maine State Board or compact Licensed Practical Nurse license
• Education: Associate degree in Nursing or graduate of a Maine State Board-approved LPN program
• Experience: 1–3 years of prior RN/LPN experience preferred
• Skills: Medical terminology preferred; strong teamwork and communication abilities
• Ability to work in a hospital setting and float to other units as needed
• Residency requirement: Candidate must reside outside of a 50-mile radius from the assignment location
