Rich Contracting Company, LLC (RCC) is looking for a Construction Project Coordinator to join our growing team.

We are a fast-paced commercial general contractor specializing in high-end retail, restaurant, and tenant improvement projects throughout the western U.S. and across the country. Our projects move quickly, expectations are high, and there are usually a lot of moving pieces. We need someone who enjoys being right in the middle of it all and helping keep everything moving in the right direction.

This is not a sit-back-and-wait-for-someone-to-give-you-a-task position .

We are looking for someone who takes ownership, follows up, asks questions, solves problems, and isn't afraid to pick up the phone when an email isn't getting the job done.

You'll work directly with our Project Managers, Project Engineers, Superintendents, subcontractors, vendors, and other members of the RCC team from the very beginning of a project through final closeout.

What You'll Be Doing

There is no such thing as a boring day in construction, and this position touches nearly every stage of our projects.

You'll help:

• Coordinate multiple commercial construction projects at the same time.
• Support projects from bidding and preconstruction through construction and final closeout .
• Work closely with Project Managers, Project Engineers, and Superintendents to make sure the project team has what they need.
• Help coordinate the bidding process, including subcontractor solicitation, bid invitations, follow-up, and proposal tracking .
• Receive, organize, and track subcontractor and supplier proposals.
• Prepare, issue, distribute, and track subcontracts, purchase orders, and other project documents .
• Collect and track insurance certificates, W-9s, contracts, and subcontractor onboarding documents .
• Follow up with subcontractors, vendors, and team members when information is missing or deadlines are approaching.
• Support our field Superintendents with documentation and administrative needs.
• Keep electronic project files organized and accurate.
• Track outstanding items, approvals, deadlines, and deliverables.
• Help make sure things don't fall through the cracks.
• Communicate potential issues or missing information to the Project Manager before they become bigger problems.

And yes — sometimes the job is simply figuring out who has the answer, getting them on the phone, and getting it handled.

• Knows when an email is enough — and when it's time to just pick up the phone.
• Can professionally push people for information when necessary.

• Likes solving problems instead of just pointing them out.
• Is willing to jump in and help the team when something needs to get done.
• Takes pride in being dependable and getting things across the finish line.

Most importantly, we want someone who has a great attitude, strong work ethic, and wants to learn and grow.

Construction Experience Is a Big Plus (but not necessary – we will train the right person),

Previous experience with a commercial general contractor, subcontractor, construction manager, architecture firm, or other construction-related company is strongly preferred.

Bonus points if you already understand things like:

• Subcontracts
• Certificates of Insurance
• W-9s
• Bid packages
• Purchase orders
• Project closeout
• Construction management software

But we also know that a great attitude, intelligence, organization, and willingness to learn can go a long way.
