Shipping & Receiving Manager
Join Our Growing Team!
We are seeking an experienced Shipping & Receiving Manager to oversee the daily flow of incoming materials and outgoing finished products in our fast-paced printing and fulfillment operation.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage all shipping and receiving activities, including scheduling pickups and deliveries.
- Coordinate LTL, parcel, freight, and local shipments.
- Verify incoming materials and outgoing orders for accuracy and condition.
- Prepare shipping documentation, labels, bills of lading, and related paperwork.
- Manage inventory movement and maintain accurate records.
- Lead and coordinate warehouse/shipping staff and daily workflow.
- Work closely with Production, Sales, and Customer Service to meet deadlines.
- Maintain an organized, safe, and efficient warehouse environment.
- Troubleshoot shipping issues and resolve carrier or delivery problems.
- Ensure orders are packaged, palletized, and shipped according to customer requirements.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of shipping, receiving, warehouse, or logistics experience.
- Previous supervisory or management experience preferred.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
- Experience with shipping software and carrier systems.
- Ability to operate or oversee the use of pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment.
- Experience in a printing, fulfillment, or manufacturing environment is a plus.
