5 Star Charleston is hiring a Commercial HVAC Service Technician (VRV/VRF Specialist) who is ready to work on high-end systems, solve complex problems, and deliver exceptional service to commercial clients.

What You'll Earn

$35.00 - $50.00 per hour , based on experience
Strong earning potential - top performers reach six figures

Company vehicle or auto allowance

7 Paid Holidays
Uniforms provided
Commission based on company profitability

Schedule Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM (Some weeknights and weekends for on-call rotation)

What You'll Do

Install, maintain, and repair VRV/VRF systems
Troubleshoot and resolve complex HVAC issues quickly and accurately
Perform routine preventative maintenance on DX equipment, pumps, cooling towers, boilers, and refrigeration systems
Diagnose problems, recommend solutions, and make repair vs. replace decisions
Read wiring diagrams, perform air balancing, and ensure systems run efficiently
Communicate clearly with clients, general contractors, and your team
Rotate on-call duties for emergency service calls

What You Need

Strong experience with VRV Daikin or VRF systems
Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams and blueprints
Solid troubleshooting skills and mechanical aptitude
Type II or Universal EPA Certification
Knowledge of air balancing principles and techniques
Willingness to accept responsibility and leadership roles
Valid driver's license with insurable driving record
