Who Is This Role Great For Those pursuing or holding degrees in psychology, social services, early education, or related behavior sciences; daycare, preschool workers, paraprofessionals, DSPs, nannies, babysitters, or anyone who loves working with kids. What Happens After I Apply Recruiters will schedule a 30‑minute virtual interview, followed by an onsite interview and a shadowing opportunity with a current Behavior Technician to understand the role and duties. Daily Responsibilities Conduct 1:1 therapy sessions. Follow prescribed skill acquisition and behavior support plans. Collect and record data, and write therapy notes. Communicate with parents and caregivers about client progress (under BCBA guidance). Assist the BCBA with client materials. Attend required trainings and maintain technical knowledge. Follow BACB guidelines. Work toward becoming an RBT (if not already). Maintain a positive working environment. Requirements Must lift and carry clients up to 30 pounds. Must be able to restrain, hold, transport, and execute quick body movements per the Behavior Support Plan. Must maintain various postures (kneeling, squatting, etc.) for extended periods. Must walk and run to chase clients, maintaining a three‑foot distance. Must sit on the floor or stand for extended periods. Must attend to basic needs such as feeding, diapering, toileting, and dressing. Must have manual dexterity for data collection and documentation. Must have visual acuity to read and comprehend written communication. Must transfer written data to electronic files or databases. Must work on a computer for prolonged periods. Must assemble, clean, and maintain therapy space. Must administer medication to clients. High School Diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks. Detail oriented. Flexible and adaptable to meet team and client needs. Act with integrity and professionalism. Preferred Experience Experience with children ages 2‑12 in classrooms, day care, 1:1 settings, or instructional childcare. Experience implementing Applied Behavior Analysis principles; educational or allied health background. Job Type & Compensation Non‑Exempt, Full‑Time.
