Assembly Lead

Cell LeaderWork Model: This is a fully onsite role, with work performed at your designated Regal Rexnord office.Position Overview:We are seeking a Cell Leader to support daily manufacturing operations by coordinating work within a production cell, ensuring adherence to standard processes, and driving team performance. In this role, you will play a key role in maintaining safety, quality, and productivity while ensuring effective communication and execution of daily production priorities.Key Responsibilities:· Lead daily operations within the production cell, ensuring work is prioritized and completed efficiently· Train and support associates on processes, procedures, and manufacturing tasks across multiple roles· Maintain working knowledge of all cell functions to provide coverage as needed· Troubleshoot equipment and production issues and coordinate resolution· Ensure daily management systems (boards, meetings, metrics) are updated and executed· Monitor and drive completion of standard work activities (5S, Kanban audits, routine tasks)· Communicate staffing needs, including labor shortages or excess capacity based on production demand· Promote adherence to standard processes and identify opportunities to eliminate waste· Ensure compliance with safety procedures and workplace standards· Provide support and coverage for the Production Supervisor as needed and communicate issues proactivelyRequired Skills and Qualifications:· High school diploma or GED· Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and production workflows· Ability to read and interpret technical documentation (drawings, diagrams, specifications)· Strong communication and interpersonal skills· Ability to work independently and within a team environment· Basic math skills and ability to analyze production data· Experience using systems such as Oracle or similar toolsPreferred Skills and Qualifications:· Prior experience in a lead or supervisory role in a manufacturing environment· Experience training and mentoring team members· Experience with continuous improvement practices (e.g. 5S, Lean, Kanban)· Familiarity with daily management systems and production metrics tracking· Experience troubleshooting production equipment or processesPhysical Demand and Work Environment:The physical demands and work environmental characteristics described here are representative of those an employee must meet, with or without reasonable accommodation, to successfully perform the essential functions of this job:Physical Demands:· While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. Salary is dependent on a multitude of factors, including but not limited to the physical worksite location, the geographic market of that location, candidate's skill set, level of experience, education and internal peer compensation comparisons among other potential factors.This role may be filled at different levels depending on the candidate's experience, skills, and business needs.
