MRI Technologist

Job Summary Position: MRI Technologist – Full‑time Float (Sun City, Arizona). The technologist will work across multiple Banner Imaging sites, performing high‑quality MRI examinations, ensuring patient safety and compliance with standards, maintaining documentation, and collaborating with site leaders to deliver patient care. Location: Banner Imaging, 14420 WMeekerBlvd, SuiteA101, SunCity, AZ, with floating to other Banner Imaging locations. Schedule: Full‑time40hours per week (6:30–5:00pm or 6:30–8:00pm), with rotating Saturdays (minimum 2 per month) and a 30‑minute lunch break. Shift hours may vary with volume. Core Functions Perform procedures per provider orders, using independent judgment and established protocols. Educate patients/families about procedures and maintain professional conduct. Produce high quality images, prepare and present them with pertinent patient information, and keep accurate documentation. Perform (if applicable) invasive/interventional procedures following policies. Conduct equipment quality control measurements; troubleshoot and notify staff to maintain performance. Maintain a safe environment for patients, personnel, and visitors; adhere to safety policies. Uphold ethical, legal, and professional responsibilities, including confidentiality. Ensure efficient workflow, monitor inventory, and prevent service interruptions. Minimum Qualifications National certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) and/or modality‑qualified licensure (NMTCB, ARDMS, ARMRIT). State regulatory agency licensure as applicable. Advance MRI certification by an accrediting body within 18 months of hire. BLS certification.
