Oncology / Hematology Clinician for AI Training [Remote]

Apply oncology and hematology expertise to help evaluate and improve next-generation healthcare AI systems. This remote contractor role focuses on translating real-world clinical judgment into high-quality evaluations, with no prior AI experience required. Role Overview

You will assess complex oncology and hematology content, helping ensure that AI-generated clinical reasoning is accurate, clinically defensible, and understandable to non-clinical audiences.

• Author and review evaluation tasks requiring nuanced clinical judgment, using Clinical Study Reports, periodic safety reports, and regulatory correspondence.
• Assess efficacy and safety conclusions for clinical defensibility, including whether endpoints and effect sizes demonstrate meaningful clinical significance.
• Apply judgment to dose escalation, dose-limiting toxicities, dose modifications, adverse-event grading and attribution, and patient narrative coherence.
• Evaluate benefit-risk analyses, including the durability of conclusions as new events emerge and the realism of proposed management strategies.
• Identify clinically implausible or internally inconsistent content while distinguishing it from legitimate clinical variation.
• Write structured, guideline-based rationales that explain the strengths and limitations of clinical interpretations for non-clinical readers.

• Specialist registration or board certification in medical oncology and/or hematology, with 5+ years of post-training clinical experience.
• Expertise in clinical oncology, clinical hematology, clinical trial evaluation, clinical reasoning, benefit-risk analysis, regulatory document review, adverse-event grading and attribution, and outcome endpoint analysis.
• Proficiency with CTCAE grading; RECIST, Lugano, IMWG, IWCLL, and ELN response criteria; and ORR, DoR, PFS, OS, and MRD endpoints.
• Hands-on experience with protocols, investigator brochures, Clinical Study Reports, safety narratives, and DSMB/IDMC materials.
• Excellent structured written communication, attention to detail, critical thinking, and problem identification and resolution skills.
• Peer-reviewed publication record or authorship on clinical trial manuscripts.

• Direct clinical-trial involvement as an investigator, sub-investigator, sponsor-side medical monitor, safety physician, or clinical development physician.
• Experience in medical monitoring or as a medical director for oncology or hematology programs is preferred.
• Participation in IDMC, DSMB, adjudication, or independent review committees is preferred.

• Remote independent contractor engagement.

• $160 to $200 per hour.
