Automation Test Engineer

Our Client, an IT Services and Consultant company, is looking for an Automation Test Engineer for their Mt. Laurel, NJ /Hybrid location.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain automation scripts using Playwright
- Build and enhance scalable and reusable automation frameworks
- Execute end-to-end, regression, and smoke testing
- Ensure comprehensive test coverage across UI (frontend) and API/backend systems
- Perform API testing using Postman/REST services
- Integrate automation tests into CI/CD pipelines (Git, GitHub Actions, Jenkins)
- Analyze test failures, troubleshoot issues, and identify root causes
- Generate and maintain test reports using tools like Allure and Playwright reports
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and support Scrum-based delivery
- Collaborate with Product Owners, Developers, Scrum Masters, and Test Leads
- Support functional testing, regression testing, integration testing, and UAT
Requirements:
- 5-7 years of experience in test automation and QA engineering
- Strong hands-on experience with Playwright automation tool
- Proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript
- Experience with JIRA for defect tracking and project management
- Solid understanding of Agile and Scrum methodologies
- Experience in API testing (Postman/REST)
- Knowledge of CI/CD integration and version control tools

- Experience with modern test reporting frameworks (Allure)
- Exposure to AI/GenAI-driven testing or productivity tools like Copilot
- Experience working with distributed/global teams
