About the Role

We’re looking for a dependable Prep Cook who can move with urgency, stay sharp under pressure, and help keep the kitchen dialed in for every shift. In a high-energy sports bar, strong prep sets the tone for service. It keeps the line stocked, the team moving, and game-day rushes under control. If you take pride in quality, consistency, and being the person the kitchen can count on when the pace picks up, this role matters.

What You’ll Do

• Prep fresh ingredients daily, including vegetables, proteins, sauces, and signature recipe items, so the kitchen is ready before the doors open and the volume hits
• Portion, label, and rotate product with accuracy to support consistency, control waste, and keep every station set for smooth service
• Keep your prep area clean, organized, stocked, and game-day ready so the line can move fast without missing a beat
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and kitchen standards on every shift, even when the pace is high and tickets are coming in nonstop
• Jump in where needed during rushes, restock the line, and support the team to help keep service efficient, focused, and on track

What You’ll Bring

Must-haves

• Basic knife skills and understanding of kitchen prep standards
• Strong attention to detail and sense of urgency
• Dependable, organized, and able to work well under pressure
• Team-first attitude and solid communication skills

Nice-to-haves

• Experience working in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen, ideally in a sports bar or similarly busy casual dining environment
• Comfortable handling game-day rushes, staying organized under pressure, and keeping prep and line support moving efficiently
• Strong working knowledge of food safety, sanitation standards, and proper product handling; ServSafe is a plus

Physical Requirements & Schedule Expectations

• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds
• Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
