St Francis Borgia Catholic School, is seeking a caring, dependable, and faith-filled Classroom Aide to support teachers and students in fostering a positive, Christ-centered learning environment. The ideal candidate is patient, collaborative, and committed to the mission of Catholic education, assisting in the academic, social, and spiritual development of students.

Job Responsibilities

• The Classroom Aide works under the direction of the classroom teacher to support daily instructional activities, reinforce learning concepts, and provide individualized or small-group assistance.
• Responsibilities include preparing materials, supervising students during classroom activities, supporting diverse learners, and helping maintain a structured and respectful classroom environment.
• This role also includes assisting with classroom organization, monitoring student behavior in accordance with school policies, and supporting students during transitions, lunch, recess, and school-wide events as needed.
• The Classroom Aide models Christian values in word and action and contributes positively to the spiritual life of the school community through participation in prayer and school liturgies.

Job Requirements

• Strong communication skills, flexibility, and the ability to maintain confidentiality are essential.
• The successful candidate demonstrates a genuine love for working with children and a willingness to collaborate closely with teachers and staff.
• High school diploma required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred
• Experience working with children in an educational setting preferred
• Commitment to the mission and teachings of the Catholic Church
• Practicing Catholic preferred
• Ability to pass required background checks and complete diocesan safe environment training
