Serco is looking for top talent to join our team! We are looking for a Remote Gov Con Closeout Billing Specialist. The Closeout Billing Specialist will prioritize final voucher packages and expiring/cancelling funds invoices in order to maximize cash flow, meet FAR and DCMA requirements, support and resolve day-to-day issues raised by DCMA, generate customer invoices, provide status reports to senior management, and support special projects as needed.

In this role you will:

• Calculate and prepare final government contract project invoices, including necessary invoicing schedules and back-up data.
• Review organizational billing practices to ensure invoice accuracy within contractual terms, Federal Acquisition Regulations, and DCAA requirements.
• Prepare and analyze schedules for accounts receivable and unbilled receivables.
• Collection follow up of invoices issued until payment arrives.
• Preparation and processing of final invoices utilizing both a Cumulative Allowable Cost Worksheet and Cumulative Cost Reconciliation method.
• Familiar with a variety of government contracting concepts, practices, and procedures.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• High School Diploma/GED
• U.S Citizenship
• Minimum 5 years of relevant Billing experience in a Government contracting arena
• Relevant experience in Costpoint
• Closeout and finals experience
• Must have experienced knowledge in Excel
• Strong collections experience
• Knowledge of Account Analysis and Reconciliation
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Excellent/very strong multitasking ability to meet deadlines
