Senior Manager, Client Events & Experiences (Sports & Hospitality)

Karta is building the premium US credit card for global citizens. Our metal Visa Infinite card gives international clients with US assets credit lines of up to $200K with no SSN required, backed by a 24/7 multilingual concierge on WhatsApp. More than 100 private banks and wealth firms recommend Karta to their clients. We are backed by Galaxy, CIM, Illuminate Financial and Canary. The role We are hiring our first dedicated events leader to build and own Karta's client events program: premium, invite-only experiences for our cardholders and for the private bankers and wealth advisors who refer them. The program runs about one flagship event every two months (about 6 per year), mostly built around major sporting events, with an annual budget of $1M to $2M USD. You will own it end to end: strategy, budget, sourcing, vendors, guest experience and ROI. Location: Miami (preferred) or New York What you will do Build and run the annual calendar of ~6 flagship client events around marquee sports moments (F1, Grand Slam tennis, NFL/NBA/MLB tentpoles, international soccer), plus smaller activations as needed Own the $1–2M annual events budget: per-event P&L, forecasting, reconciliation and cost-per-guest tracking Secure premium inventory and hospitality (suites, hospitality packages, hotels, ground transport, dining) and negotiate with venues, leagues, hospitality partners and agencies Design high-touch guest journeys for high-net-worth, internationally based guests: invitations, RSVPs, travel, VIP logistics, on-site hosting and follow-up Partner with Sales/Partnerships to decide who is invited and turn events into referrals, activations and card spend Work with Concierge, Marketing and Compliance so every touchpoint feels like Karta and follows our policies Define and report success metrics for every event (attendance, NPS, referrals, retention, spend lift) Build the playbooks, vendor bench and processes so the program can scale What you bring 7–12+ years in client or VIP events, experiential marketing or premium hospitality, including 3–5+ years owning large events end to end A track record running premium sports hospitality for HNW or VIP audiences Experience managing $1M+ annual budgets and multiple vendors and agencies at once Background at a premium financial-services brand (AMEX, Visa, Capital One, private banks), a luxury brand or a sports hospitality firm is a strong plus Strong network of venue, league, team and hospitality contacts in the US Hands-on, detail-obsessed and calm on site; thrives as a high-ownership individual contributor in a startup Fluent English required; Spanish and/or Portuguese strongly preferred Willing to travel for events (about 6–10 trips per year, including weekends) Why Karta Build Karta's client events program from scratch, with a real budget and direct access to the founders Premium brand, global HNW audience and some of the best sports moments on the calendar Competitive base, bonus and early-stage equity #J-18808-Ljbffr Karta
