Location: Plymouth, MN

Pay Rate: $24/hr

Employment Type: Contingent with potential pathway for hire

Schedule: Monday-Friday, varying shift times between 6:45am-6:00pm

As a Phlebotomist, you play a vital role in the patient experience and the diagnostic testing process. Your expertise in specimen collection, attention to detail, and commitment to patient care help ensure accurate test results while creating a positive and professional experience for every patient.

What You'll Do

  • Collect high-quality blood specimens using established phlebotomy procedures
  • Perform specimen collection and processing for both clinical and forensic testing
  • Accurately label, prepare, and process specimens for laboratory testing
  • Maintain required records and documentation with a high level of accuracy
  • Provide excellent patient care while explaining procedures and addressing concerns
  • Maintain a safe, professional, and confidential environment
  • Support operational excellence by completing daily activities accurately and on time

What We're Looking For

  • A current, up-to-date resume
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 6 months of phlebotomy experience required
  • Strong phlebotomy skills, including pediatric and geriatric collections
  • Excellent customer service and patient communication skills
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Keyboard and data entry proficiency
  • Medical assistant or paramedic training preferred
  • Phlebotomy certification preferred
  • Flexible availability to support staffing needs, including weekends, holidays, on-call shifts, and overtime as needed
  • Ability to meet compliance requirements (Hospital credentialing required. Required immunizations: MMR, Varicella, Tdap, and TB Test. COVID-19 and Flu vaccinations strongly recommended.)
