Residential & Commercial Electrician

We’re looking for an experienced electrician who takes pride in quality workmanship, communicates professionally with customers, and wants to help build a company that values craftsmanship over shortcuts. This is a project-based 1099 contractor position with opportunities to transition into a full-time W-2 role as Dark Current Electric grows. Qualifications What We’re Looking For Minimum Qualifications 5+ years preferred Strong troubleshooting ability Reliable transportation Professional appearance Comfortable communicating with homeowners Own basic hand tools Valid driver’s license Preferred Qualifications Commercial experience Arizona ROC license(s) preferred (R-11, C-11, or CR-11) Generator experience Day To Day What You’ll Be Doing Diagnose residential electrical problems Install lighting, switches, receptacles and ceiling fans Install EV chargers Complete light commercial work Communicate directly with homeowners Leave every jobsite clean Support What We Provide Branded company shirts Scheduling and dispatching Customer acquisition Materials Office support Specialty testing equipment provided for use on jobs that require it Bring Your Own What You’ll Need Reliable truck Hand tools Cordless power tools Ladder Smartphone Why Dark Current The Dark Current Difference We’re not looking for people to work for us.
