The HR manager will work closely with school leadership and employees to administer benefits, maintain employee records, support onboarding and offboarding, manage employment documentation, and help ensure compliance with school policies and applicable requirements. Assess, implement, maintain, and communicate school employee policies and procedures Maintain accurate and confidential personnel files and employee records Serve as the primary liaison with the school’s benefits broker and support the administration of employee benefit programs Manage employee onboarding and offboarding processes, ensuring a welcoming, organized, and consistent experience for employees Maintain and monitor required teaching, staff, and athletic coaching licenses and related documentation Prepare annual staff and athletic stipend employment contracts and letters of employment Generate and maintain employee benefit rosters and census information Coordinate and process benefit premium payments Maintain the school’s retirement program roster and related employee information Monitor and support regulatory compliance related to school employment policies and benefit programs Respond promptly to employee questions regarding human resources policies, benefits, employment documentation, and related mattersli> Partner with the CFO and school leadership on human resources matters and other employee-related initiatives as needed Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field preferred Previous professional experience in human resources, benefits administration, employee relations, or a related area Knowledge of human resources practices, employee benefits, recordkeeping, and employment-related compliance requirements Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion and sound judgment Excellent organizational skills and demonstrated attention to detail Strong interpersonal skills and a service-oriented approach to working with employees at all levels of the school Ability to manage multiple priorities and recurring annual processes with accuracy and appropriate follow-through Proficiency with standard office technology and human resources or benefits administration systems Strong written and verbal communication skills Salary will be commensurate with experience and qualifications.
