Position Overview

All Access Home Care is seeking a compassionate, dependable, and professional Personal Care Assistant (PCA) to provide in-home support for a client. The ideal candidate is reliable, patient, and committed to helping the client maintain independence while delivering high-quality care.

Please Note: The client has a cat, so applicants must be comfortable working in a home with pets and should not have cat allergies.

Responsibilities

- Assist with personal care and activities of daily living (ADLs).

- Provide companionship and emotional support.

- Prepare light meals and assist with meal setup.

- Perform light housekeeping, including dishes, taking out the trash, and keeping the living area clean and organized.

- Assist with mobility and transfers as needed.

- Provide medication reminders (if applicable).

- Monitor the client's well-being and report any changes to the office.

- Accompany the client to appointments or community outings if needed.

Qualifications

- PCA certification or previous caregiving experience preferred.

- Compassionate, dependable, and professional.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

- Reliable transportation and punctual attendance.

- Must pass all required background checks.

- Authorized to work in the United States.
