MS Therapist (Unlicensed) | Family Intensive Therapy (1239)

Job Purpose:
- The MS Therapist (Unlicensed) at LIFESTREAM BEHAVIORAL CENTER is responsible for providing therapeutic services to clients under the supervision of a licensed therapist. The role involves supporting clients in managing mental health challenges, developing treatment plans, and facilitating therapeutic sessions to promote mental well-being and recovery.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct initial assessments and gather relevant information about clients' mental health status and needs.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with licensed therapists.
- Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions using evidence-based therapeutic techniques.
- Monitor clients' progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to ensure effective outcomes.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records and documentation in compliance with organizational and legal standards.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate care and provide comprehensive support to clients.
- Participate in regular supervision and training sessions to enhance professional development and ensure adherence to best practices.
- Provide crisis intervention and support to clients as needed.
- Educate clients and their families about mental health conditions and available resources.
- Uphold confidentiality and ethical standards in all client interactions and professional activities.

Required Education:
- Master's degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field from an accredited institution.

Required Experience:
- Experience in providing therapeutic services in a clinical setting.
- Familiarity with mental health disorders and treatment methodologies.
- Experience working with diverse populations and age groups.
- Previous experience in case management and developing treatment plans.

Required Skills and Abilities:
- Strong understanding of therapeutic techniques and evidence-based practices.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical guidelines.
- Proficient in documentation and record-keeping.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks.
