Mechanical Design Engineer

About the Opportunity: Saratech is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer that will provide engineering for aircraft mechanical systems for a large-scale commercial aircraft derivative. Salary Range: $75 - $85 per hour Duties and Responsibilities: Perform mechanical engineering Must be very proficient in the latest version of NX CAD Must understand design principles and GD&T for part manufacturing NX CAD software is a MUST Skills and Abilities: Must have Bachelor's Degree in Engineering and minimum 5 years prior relevant mechanical design experience Aircraft experience is necessary Airframe primary and secondary structure experience is a plus Other Requirements: Complies with all organizational policies and procedures Maintains strict confidentiality of all customer and/or employee information to assure customer and/or employee rights are protected Adheres to policies regarding notification of absence and PTO requests Attends all mandatory management and staff meetings Represents the organization in a respectful and professional manner Attend and comply with annual health, safety, training and education requirements Adheres to dress code, appearance is neat and clean Subject to background check US Citizen or Green Card Additional Information: Physical demands: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
