Overview:

TCB Network Solutions has been serving businesses throughout Louisiana since 2005. We provide managed IT services, Microsoft 365 administration, cybersecurity, network infrastructure, VoIP phone systems, surveillance systems, and structured cabling solutions. We are seeking a motivated Network Technician to join our growing team and help deliver exceptional technology solutions to our clients.

Requirements and Responsibilities

• MUST be able to pass a background check.
• Install, terminate, label, test, and verify Cat5e/Cat6 cabling.
• Install and configure network switches, wireless access points, firewalls, and routers.
• Deploy and troubleshoot UniFi networking equipment.
• Install and configure IP surveillance systems and cameras.
• Install and maintain rack-mounted equipment and cable management systems.
• Assist with Microsoft 365 workstation deployments and user onboarding.
• Troubleshoot workstation, network, Wi-Fi, printing, and connectivity issues.
• Document installations and maintain accurate project records.
• Provide excellent customer service while working onsite and remotely.
• Participate in occasional after-hours maintenance windows and emergency service calls.

Level I

• 0–2 years experience
• Basic hand tools
• Cable installation
• Basic networking knowledge
• Willingness to learn

Level II

• 2–5 years experience
• Can work independently
• Understands switching, VLANs, Wi-Fi, DHCP, DNS
• Can install and troubleshoot network equipment

Level III

• 5+ years experience
• Advanced network troubleshooting
• Project leadership
• Microsoft 365 experience
• Can train junior technicians
• Can design and deploy complete network solutions

Physical Requirements

• Lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Climb ladders and work from lifts.
• Work in attics, warehouses, and construction environments when required.
• Ability to stand, bend, kneel, and work overhead for extended periods.

Job Location and Travel

· Job location – In the office or onsite with a client. Occasional overnight travel, with the potential for this to increase.

· Indoor/Outdoor - Most work is inside in the a/c, but some outside work is necessary to complete certain projects.

· Driving - Clean driving record and ability to legally drive work vehicle.

· Dress - Business casual environment but must appear neat and clean to interface with clients.
