Cardiologist - Remote (PRN/1099)

The Cardiologist provides virtual consultations, follow-up care, and specialized clinical expertise to patients and healthcare providers through Avel eCare’s state-of-the-art telehealth platform. This physician collaborates with multidisciplinary care teams to evaluate and manage a broad range of cardiovascular conditions, provide timely clinical guidance, and deliver high-quality, patient-centered care. The role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact while enjoying the flexibility and benefits of a remote practice environment.

General Hours of Work: Daytime hours including weekend and holidays

Hours/FTE:  PRN/1099

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Provide consultations via phone or video to partner facilities with block scheduling. 
• Collaborate with onsite clinical staff to coordinate care for patients.
• Review patient results and make tailored recommendations.
• Offer provider-to-provider support through direct consultation.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

• MD or DO Degree required.
• Minimum 3 years of active inpatient practical experience in Cardiology.
• Telemedicine experience preferred but not required.

CERTIFICATION, LICENSURE, and/or REGISTRATION

• Board certification in Cardiology.
• One active state license (in any US state).
• Multiple state licensures (supported by Avel eCare).
