Job Description
Registered Nurse - Operating Room

Schedule

Shift: 3x12 Days or 4x10 Days, with shift start times varying between 0645-1915 and 0900-2130.

Assignment Details

Assignment Length: 13 Weeks
Guaranteed Hours: 60 Hours per 2 weeks. Traveler can be called off for 1, 12-hour shift per 2 weeks.

Requirements

• Must have an active RN license.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in the Operating Room.
• Certifications: BLS required; ACLS and CNOR preferred.
• Familiarity with EPIC charting system.
• If needed, clinician may float to like units.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in the operating room setting.
• Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure patient safety and positive outcomes.
• Assist in the preparation and management of surgical instruments and supplies.
• Monitor patient's condition before, during, and after surgery.
• Document nursing care and patient responses in accordance with facility policies.
• Adhere to infection control protocols and safety guidelines.
