Network Engineer

Our client, a large professional services firm is looking to hire a Network Engineer for a 6 month onsite project in Chesapeake, VA. The consultant will be working in a staff augmentation capacity.

Required Skills:

• Experience with Layer 2, foundational Layer 3, and introductory Wi-Fi concepts.
• Experience with L2 switching (i.e. fully understand VLANs, tagging, trunking, AAA, Spanning Tree, etc.)
• Foundational knowledge of L3 networking

Desired Skills:

• Strong L2–L7 understanding, routing/firewall/Wi-Fi integration, and Network Access Control (NAC).
• Should have a strong understanding of L3 through 7 networking, routing protocols, firewalls, WiFi and NAC.
