Resident Care Director

Job Description Join the team at The Fitzgerald . The Resident CareDirector manages and directs a high-quality Assisted Living Program providing superior care services delivered with compassion. As a motivational leader this individual supervises and coordinates resident assessments, medications, safety procedures, and department budgets. What will I do every day? Complete accurate and regular resident assessments Determine the appropriate level of care Maintain all resident information, files, and reports Supervise and administer all resident medications Maintain emergency plans and meet all safety requirements Coordinate care provided by third parties, maintaining positive relationships with a variety of third-party care providers Manage Assisted Living budget and expenses Forecast and schedule necessary levels of staffing Conduct departmental planning and forecasting Hire and train care team associates Manage and improve resident and family satisfaction Special Requirements/Certifications: Registered Nurse required Three to five years of supervisory experience BS degree in human services, psychology, nursing, or related fields Experience working with seniors Experienced working with Microsoft Office and with Assisted Living software programs CPR Certified First Aid Certified Universal Precautions trained What’s in it for me?
