This role provides strategic leadership for materials planning, stocking policy, and inventory governance, with direct accountability for improving planning effectiveness, On-Time Delivery performance, and long-term supply chain health.This position reports to the Sr. Director of Supply Chain and is part of the Supply Chain department located in Coralville, IA, Boulder, CO, or Fargo ND and will be an on-site role.In this role, you will have the opportunity to:Lead global materials planning strategy to ensure material availability, inventory health, and reliable support of customer demand across IDT operations.Own inventory policy, stocking strategies, planning parameters, and governance for approximately $56M+ in inventory across eight key sites.Drive working capital improvement through disciplined inventory management, strategic planning, and proactive excess and obsolete risk mitigation.Improve On-Time Delivery performance by ensuring material supply, planning accuracy, and inventory policies support production schedules and customer commitments.Lead, coach, and develop a team of materials planning professionals, building capability, accountability, and consistent planning execution.Serve as the business lead for key inventory and planning programs, including IMAG, PFEP, AI-enabled planning capabilities, and technology improvements that strengthen inventory governance, planning accuracy, and long-term supply chain performance.Partner cross-functionally with manufacturing, operations, commercial, finance, procurement, and supply chain teams to align planning execution with operational and financial objectives.The essential requirements of the job include:Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Business, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent work experience.7+ Multiple years of progressive experience in materials planning, supply planning, inventory management, supply chain, or operations.Management experience leading materials planning, supply chain, operations, or related functional teams.Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements:Ability to travel up to 15%.It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:MBA and/or CPIM certification preferred, but not required.Experience implementing AI-enabled planning capabilities, advanced analytics, or planning technology improvements preferred.IDT, a Danaher operating company, offers a broad array of comprehensive, competitive benefit programs that add value to our lives. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. This range may be modified in the future.This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.We offer comprehensive package of benefits including paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance and 401(k) to eligible employees.Note: No amount of pay is considered to be wages or compensation until such amount is earned, vested, and determinable.
