A healthcare facility in Kansas City, KS, is seeking two inpatient pharmacists for a 13-week travel assignment starting on September 21st. This role offers a dynamic schedule with a mix of day and evening shifts, including rotating weekends, providing an engaging work environment for pharmacists ready to make a difference in inpatient care.

Responsibilities:

• Perform typical inpatient pharmacy duties, including verifying prescriptions and medication orders
• Supervise pharmacy technicians to ensure accuracy and compliance with protocols
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to optimize patient medication therapy
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of hospital pharmacy practices and regulations

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of recent inpatient pharmacy experience preferred
• Valid Kansas pharmacist license must be in hand at time of application
• BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the site (ideal for first-time travel pharmacists)

Schedule:

• Mixed shifts including days, evenings, and rotating weekend coverage
