Job Description & Requirements Specialty: ED - Emergency Department Discipline: RN Start Date: 11/30/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, evenings Employment Type: Travel Job Summary Emergency Room (ER) Nurse in Spokane, WA This role involves providing acute emergency care in a Level 3 Trauma Center at a 388-bed hospital. The position requires delivering high-quality patient care across diverse patient populations, including trauma, psychiatric, and general medical cases, with support from a multidisciplinary team. Job Details Position Description: ER nurse responsible for managing patient care in a fast-paced environment with a patient ratio of approximately 1:4-5, up to 1:6 for low acuity patients. Required Qualifications: Certificates in BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, MOAB/CPI; 3-5 years of experience in a Level 3 or higher trauma facility; EPIC electronic medical records experience; skills in RSI, conscious sedation, lines/drains/tubes, and general ER procedures. Schedule: Evening shifts, 12-hour shifts, minimum 36 hours per week, starting 11/30/2026 through 02/27/2027. Additional Information: Patient types include trauma, psychiatric, sepsis, cardiac, stroke, abdominal and chest pain. Support staff includes CNA/ER Techs, resource nurses, hospitalists, and telemetry monitoring. Orientation includes 1 week of general and 24 weeks of unit-specific training. Cross training in IV placement and wound care is supported. Submission Requirements: Candidates must demonstrate current licensure and certifications, and be prepared to support high-acuity emergency care.
