Lead Field Service Electronics TechnicianEaton's Critical Power Solutions (CPS) Division is currently seeking a Lead Field Service Electronics Technician to join our team of world-class customer service professionals. This position is based in the greater Albuquerque, NM area. Relocation assistance can be offered to candidates that currently live in NM but are outside of the 100 mile radius of Albuquerque!This is a remote position based from a home office with daily travel to customer sites and occasional overnight stays. Candidates will be subject to a motor vehicle record check upon hire.Must undergo and pass customer entrance requirements as needed, which may include, but is not limited to, periodic background checks and drug screenings.Daily travel to customer sites is required, utilizing an Eaton-provided fleet vehicle.Provide support for customer needs outside the immediate region within the USA for a minimum of three (3) weeks per quarter.Must perform physical tasks as needed, including assisted lifting/carrying 50+ lbs., pushing/pulling, standing for extended periods, climbing, squatting, bending, kneeling, and driving long distances.We will not consider candidates who:Eaton will not consider applicants for employment immigration sponsorship or support for this position. This means that Eaton will not support any CPT, OPT, or STEM OPT plans, F-1 to H-1B, H-1B cap registration, O-1, E-3, TN status, I-485 job portability, etc.You will set yourself apart by demonstrating some or all of the following:Associate's degree in electrical or electronics from an accredited institution, current enrollment in a bachelor's degree engineering program at an accredited institution or applicable military training and experience.Three (3)+ years experience working with power systems, battery technologies and/or electronics.Electrical Technology Certificate.Ability to read electrical component schematic drawings and apply troubleshooting, testing, and repair techniques.Strong understanding of electrical theory, battery systems, and single- and three-phase circuits.Strictly follow company/customer safety rules for a secure work environment.Collaborate with Field Service Technicians, taking direction from on-site leads.
