About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Cardiac Telemetry Duration: 20 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 2 years License: Active RN state license Certifications: BLS, CPI, NIH, ACLS preferred Must-Have: Strong experience in higher acuity and PCU. Description: Seeking a Registered Nurse for a Cardiac Telemetry unit. Position requires experience in MS/Telemetry nursing, specifically with patient populations including adults and geriatrics. The role involves handling a variety of complex diagnoses such as CHF, ECOPD, NSTEMI, A-fib, arrhythmias, sepsis, and renal failure. Nurses will be responsible for managing telemetry patients with a 4:1 patient ratio on nights. Floating within the specialty may be required as needed. Weekends required every other weekend. All Time Off requests must be submitted at the time of the offer. Maximum of one major and one minor holiday request allowed during fall and winter holidays. Candidates must have experience with BiPAP/CPAP management, blood product administration, central line care, and management of dysrhythmias. Skills in telemetry and cardiac monitoring are essential. Interdisciplinary support will be available in the form of various teams including IV teams, respiratory services, and rapid response teams.
