Become a District Shift Leader and follow a targeted General Manager development plan. Upon completion of the plan, you will be next in line to take ownership of a bakery as a General Manager when a position becomes available. What a day in the life of a District Shift Leader looks like District Shift Leaders perform management duties at a home location and support other bakeries in the market as needed. Shifts begin as early as 3 am for bake‑time and store opening duties. You will lead by example, serve as a brand ambassador, and provide ongoing coaching and training for teams. In busy conditions you’ll jump into different roles each shift to ensure high‑quality food and beverages for guests while maintaining a safe and clean store environment. The GM development plan includes training in administrative duties such as inventory tracking, vendor orders and cash management. You will learn P&L analysis, food‑cost and labor target achievement, scheduling and recruitment of quality team members.
