Registered Nurse - SCU/IMC

Location: Damariscotta, Maine

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: Shift: 6 AM - 6 PM or 6 PM - 6 AM

Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for our Special Care Unit/Intermediate Care Unit. This role involves providing high-quality care to patients with a variety of medical needs. The ideal candidate will exhibit a proactive approach and maintain high standards in patient care.

Responsibilities:

• Administer vasoactive drips, manage ventilators, and provide comprehensive nursing care.
• Monitor and manage patient conditions with a focus on safety and effectiveness.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver optimal patient care.
• Utilize equipment such as ventilators, ceiling lifts, Plumb Pumps, feeding tubes, and chest tubes.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• 5 years of nursing experience required.
• Current RN license required.
• Experience with ICU/SCU preferred.
• Certification for required equipment operation (ventilators, etc.) is preferred.
