Froedtert ThedaCare , a highly successful northeast Wisconsin non-profit health system, seeks a   BE/BC Family Medicine Physician for our Waupaca, WI location. Practice Highlights :

• Full- and part-time opportunities to practice outpatient-based family medicine, with inpatient and/or procedural opportunities if desired
• 1.0 FTE consists of 36 patient contact hours plus 4 hours of dedicated administrative time weekly
• Join an established team of 6 physicians and 11 APCs
• Strong organizational infrastructure with nursing, administrative, and specialty support
• Epic EMR utilized system-wide with integrated DAX copilot and Dragon dictation tools

Clinic Hours : M-Th 7:00a-7:00p, F 7:00a-5:00p, S 8:00a-1:00p 

Call Rotation : 1:11, ThedaCare On Call, a nurse triage service, screen all calls before transferring them to the on-call provider.

Competitive Compensation and Benefits

• Income Details:
• Two-year salary guarantee providing financial stability during practice start-up
• Transition to a production-based compensation plan in year three, rewarding productivity and growth
• Sign-on bonus offered to support a smooth transition into practice
• 35 days of paid time off annually, including vacation, holidays, and CME
• $4,500 annual CME allowance
• Malpractice coverage with tail insurance and access to the WI Patient Compensation Fund

ThedaCare Medical Center-Waupaca is a 25-bed, Critical Access Hospital serving Waupaca and surrounding communities.

• 24-Hour Emergency Care -  Board Certified Emergency Medicine Staff available 24/7, with close connections to ThedaStar in the event of a transfer to a higher level care facility is necessary. 
• Swing Bed Program  available to meet the needs of patients who no longer require inpatient care, but are not ready to go home. 
• Rehabilitation Services,  which provides a full range of services to treat mind, body, and spirit, offering an integrated approach to health and wellness. 

ThedaCare Medical Center-Waupaca provides local care in a way that improves local access and enhances services in the community. State of the art Emergency Department averages 12,000 visits per year. 4 major trauma rooms and 4 minor exam rooms.
