HANSTAFF is a nationwide healthcare staffing company that has partnered with Correctional Facilities across your state to help them find amazing nurses. We're looking for you to become a valued member of the healthcare team at our client's medical facility!Pay Rate: $48 / hourDetailsFull time schedulesSome weekends may be required8 or 12 hour shifts available depending on the facilityContract position (flexible with shift availability is a plus)Sat-Sun 1:30pm-10pmDutiesProvide basic nursing care to patients with mental health conditionsMonitor patient behavior, mood, and vital signsAssist with daily living activities (hygiene, meals, mobility)Administer medications as directed and within scope of practiceSupport patients during therapy and treatment activitiesReport changes in patient condition to nurses or physiciansMaintain patient safety and prevent self-harm or injuryDocument patient care and observationsAssist in crisis intervention and de-escalationFollow treatment plans and facility protocolsQualificationsGraduation from an accredited educational institutionLicensed as a Licensed Psychiatric Tech by the State in CA.
