Principal Planner

Principal Supply Chain PlannerAn established manufacturer with over 250 years of operating history is hiring a Principal Planner to lead supply chain planning at its Rochester, NH facility. The company operates 16 U.S. locations across three states plus four additional global facilities and has been recognized as a Great Place to Work. This role partners cross-functionally, most closely with Operations, to manage master scheduling, inventory planning, and work order prioritization.Schedule: Full time, onsite at a 24/7 manufacturing facility.Compensation: $100,000 to $110,000 per year, plus bonus eligibility.What You'll DoThe Principal Planner owns critical supply chain deadlines, ensuring alignment with customer expectations and contractual commitments, and drives accuracy of MRP signals to support production and inventory flow while remaining compliant with internal policies and customer requirements. This role partners with Operations and Production to resolve issues and remove constraints, monitors schedules and delivery performance, and proactively mitigates risk. Responsibilities also include managing end-of-life inventory, PO and work order liability, and new product implementations without direct supervision. The planner leverages data from multiple systems to deliver analytics to leadership, trains other Planning team members on data sources and reporting methods, and serves as a key escalation point within Planning. The role leads continuous improvement initiatives to increase efficiency and reduce costs, provides guidance and training on Oracle ASCP, and participates in 5S standards and all required safety and ISO procedures.Required QualificationsBachelor's degree in business or a related field, or equivalent experience10 or more years of experience in a production or manufacturing environment with a global companyDemonstrated expertise in Material Requirements Planning (MRP), including evaluating and maintaining planning signals in compliance with internal policies and customer requirementsStrong understanding of supply chain management conceptsProficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)Ability to operate independently and complete tasks in a timely mannerMust be a US Citizen or US Permanent Resident (see note below)Able to pass a drug and background checkPreferred QualificationsExperience in machining, defense, aerospace, retail, or bioscience industriesAPICS certificationProficiency with a top tier ERP system, preferably Oracle EBS including ASCPExperience working in an Agile environmentExperience training others on manufacturing systems and office applicationsCompensation and Benefits$100,000 to $110,000 per year, plus bonus401(k) with company matchMedical, dental, and vision insuranceEmployee discount programRelocation assistance availableTo apply, submit your resume for consideration.
