Our merchandising & stocking associates connect all of the dots to make sure members can find everything on their shopping list. From everyday needs to special occasions, members need you as a mini‑tour guide to help them find the special product. Depending on the shift you work, your job could include moving inventory in the backroom, unloading trucks, fulfilling club pick‑up orders or helping members while stocking shelves. The job can be physically demanding—like being paid to go to the gym! Key Responsibilities Unload trucks promptly Assist fellow associates as needed throughout the store Sort and stock products on shelves and in the backroom Engage with vendors and drivers with a positive attitude Maintain a clean, neat, and member‑ready area Provide member service by acknowledging members, identifying their needs, guiding them, locating merchandise, resolving member issues, and promoting company products and services Maintain safety of the facility by conducting safety sweeps, following forklift spotting procedures, handling hazardous materials, and reporting unsafe situations Maintain merchandise presentation by properly zoning, stocking, arranging, pricing, and securing fragile and high‑shrink merchandise Monitor food and merchandise quality by ensuring product rotation, code dating, recalls, sanitation standards, and prominent display of promotional merchandise Comply with company policies, procedures, and ethics; use the Open Door Policy; apply them in all business processes Complete work assignments and priorities by collaborating with managers, co‑workers, customers, and partners; determine priorities, deadlines, and expectations; communicate progress; identify improvement opportunities Ensure club pick‑up orders are filled and staged according to company policy Qualifications While specific minimum qualifications are not listed, preferred qualifications include experience in a fast‑paced retail environment, strong teamwork skills, and the ability to lift more than 25 pounds.
