Essential Duties and Responsibilities Conduct nutrition assessments using the Nutrition Care Process. Perform nutrition-focused physical examinations and interviews. Develop and evaluate enteral and parenteral nutrition prescriptions. Evaluate effectiveness of interventions and adjust as needed. Participate in Nutrition at Risk meetings. Communicate with interdisciplinary team, schedule meetings. Complete administrative duties: reports, quality assurance audits, and compliance documentation. Collaborate with food service director to ensure safe practices and meal delivery. Provide nutrition-related in-services as requested. Review and approve facility menus bi-yearly, ensuring nutritional adequacy. Requirements and Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in nutrition, dietetics, or related field and completion of ACEND-approved dietetic internship. Registered Dietitian (RD/RDN) registration with CDR and ongoing continuing education. Dietitian license/certification in the operating state within 60 days of hire. One year of clinical dietetics experience preferred. Strong organizational and prioritization skills; ability to work independently and make decisions.
