Delivery Driver

Right now Domino's is looking for qualified drivers to staff stores in your area. We're growing so fast it's hard to keep up, and that means Domino's has lots of ways for you to grow (if that's what you want), perhaps to management, perhaps beyond. Whether it's your hobby, main‑gig, or supplemental job, we're bound to have just the thing for you. Mandatory Driver Requirements Must be 18 years of age or older. Hold a valid driver’s license with a safe driving record that meets company standards. Have a minimum of the last two years of licensed driving history in the United States and be able to provide documentation of that history. Be an insured driver on the insurance policy for the vehicle. Must have an insured, registered vehicle that can be used for delivery. Must be able to navigate adverse terrain, including multi‑story buildings and private homes, while carrying product. Driver Licensing History Requirements Must be licensed in the US for at least the last two years minimum and be able to prove licensed driving history. Must have an unsuspended or uninterrupted driving history of at least 1.5 years during the last two years. The suspension cannot be at the start of the two‑year period. No more than one violation and one at‑fault accident associated within the last two years. No more than two violations and one at‑fault accident associated within the last three years. No more than three violations in the last three years. Moving citations (i.e., speeding, vehicle safety, etc.) count as violations. Seatbelt citations do not count as violations; and Inoperable brake light citations do not count as violations. No serious/major violations allowed in the past five years. Stock ingredients from delivery area to storage, work area, and walk‑in cooler. Prepare product. Receive and process telephone orders. Take inventory and complete associated paperwork. Clean equipment and facility daily. Training Orientation and training provided on the job. Communication Skills Comprehend and provide correct written instructions. Communicate verbally with customers and co‑workers to process orders both over the phone and in person. Essential Functions, Skills and Abilities Perform basic addition, subtraction, multiplication and division accurately and quickly (may use calculator). Make correct monetary change. Use verbal, writing and telephone skills to take and process orders. Coordinate motor movements between eyes and hands/fingers to rapidly and accurately execute precise movements with speed. Enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen. Navigate adverse terrain while carrying product. Work Conditions Exposure to varying and sometimes adverse weather conditions when removing trash and performing other outside tasks. In‑store temperatures range from 36° to 90° and above in some work areas. Sudden changes in temperature in work area and while outside. Fumes from food odors. Exposure to cornmeal dust. Cramped quarters including walk‑in cooler. Hot surfaces/tools from oven up to 500°F or higher. Sharp edges and moving mechanical parts. Physical Requirements Standing – most tasks performed from a standing position. Walking – short distances for short durations on ceramic tile or linoleum; height of work surfaces between 36” and 48”. Sitting – paperwork normally completed at a desk or table. Lifting – bulk product deliveries (up to 50 lb) handled by hand truck. Carrying – large cans (≈3 lb 7 oz), pizza sauce (≈30 lb), trays of dough (≈12 lb each) carried from workstation to storage or front of store. Pushing – trays on dollies may require up to 7.5 lb force. Climbing – occasionally navigate stairs or ladder for maintenance tasks. Stooping/Bending – forward bending at waist required at pizza assembly station (30‑45 sec intervals) and front counter. Crouching/Squatting – performed occasionally to stock shelves and clean low areas. Reaching – up to 72 in above or below the head; forward reaching while obtaining ingredients, cleaning, answering phones. Hand Tasks – continuous use of hands with finger and forearm strength for shaping dough, using pizza peel, cutting, box assembly. Tools – use of pencils/pens, computers, telephones, calculators, TDD equipment, pizza cutter, pizza peel. Pay $20.00 per hour, plus tips and mileage.
