Licensed Practical Nurse - Correctional Health

Requirements
- Valid LPN license for the state (limited permit accepted if valid)
- BLS certification
- Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience; preferred experience in medical-surgical, ambulatory care, or mental health

Roles & Responsibilities
- Administer medications, including controlled substances
- Monitor and document vital signs and basic assessments
- Provide wound care and dressing changes
- Assist with health screenings and emergency response activities
- Work collaboratively under RN oversight within a secure environment

Compliance / Notes
- In-person interview required for all candidates
- State-run criminal history clearance required before starting, may take up to 4 weeks
- COVID-19 vaccination required (medical exemptions only)
- Submit necessary documentation upon application: SSN, DOB, valid state license, BLS certificate
