Location: 1400 Us Highway 61, Festus, MO 63028

Pay Rate: Starting at $25.00/hour

Schedule: Monday-Friday 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM

Dean's Professional Services is seeking a dependable, experienced, and patient-focused Phlebotomist II to support a leading healthcare organization in Festus, MO . This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled phlebotomist who is passionate about delivering exceptional patient care while working in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform accurate venipuncture and capillary blood collections for pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients.

• Collect, label, process, and prepare specimens for laboratory testing following established quality and safety procedures.

• Verify patient identification and demographic information while ensuring specimens are accurately labeled in the patient's presence.

• Perform both clinical and forensic specimen collections in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements.

• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with HIPAA, safety standards, and laboratory protocols.

• Deliver compassionate, professional patient care by explaining procedures and creating a positive patient experience.

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

• Support daily operations by prioritizing workload and meeting productivity and quality expectations.

• Travel to additional patient service centers or physician offices as needed to provide coverage.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.

• Medical Assistant or Paramedic training preferred.

• Phlebotomy certification preferred (where applicable).

• 1-3 years of phlebotomy experience required, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.

• Previous Patient Service Center (PSC) experience preferred.

• Strong customer service, communication, and computer/data entry skills.

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

• Reliable transportation with flexibility to travel to multiple collection sites when needed.

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality patient care and safety standards.

• Flexibility to work additional hours, weekends, holidays, or overtime based on business needs.
