Job Title: Solar Safety Manager Location: Mississippi County, AR Compensation: DOE + $140/Day Per Diem Summary: We are seeking a motivated and proactive Safety Manager to support a large-scale utility solar farm project in Mississippi County, AR. This role is ideal for a safety professional with solid construction safety experience who is looking to continue growing their career in renewable energy. Candidates with solar project experience are strongly preferred, along with environmental compliance knowledge. The ideal candidate is a hands-on, field-focused safety leader who takes ownership of the safety culture, identifies risks before incidents occur, and drives continuous improvement throughout all phases of construction. This individual must be a go-getter who is proactive rather than reactive and can build strong working relationships with craft personnel, subcontractors, and project leadership. Key Responsibilities:

• Promote and maintain a strong safety culture across the project site.
• Conduct daily field safety audits, inspections, and observations.
• Identify hazards and implement corrective actions before incidents occur.
• Lead safety orientations for new hires and subcontractors.
• Facilitate toolbox talks, safety meetings, and training sessions.
• Monitor compliance with OSHA standards, company policies, and site-specific safety plans.
• Investigate incidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions and develop corrective action plans.
• Track and maintain safety documentation, reports, inspections, and training records.
• Support and monitor environmental compliance requirements on the project.
• Partner with project management and field supervision to ensure safe work practices.
• Participate in pre-task planning, Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs), and risk assessments.
• Maintain a visible presence in the field and actively engage with workers on safety and environmental best practices.
