Job Overview A law firm seeks an experienced Workers' Compensation Lateral Partner Attorney to join their team in Atlanta, GA. Duties Assess new files to establish action plans, budgets, and recommendations. Identify pleading requirements and delegate tasks to paralegals as needed. Prepare discovery responses and manage document production. Attend depositions, hearings, and other discovery events, providing thorough reports. Negotiate settlements, secure authority, and prepare for trial as necessary. Maintain regular communication with paralegals and legal assistants. Requirements 5-7 years of practice experience in workers' compensation defense preferred. Licensed to practice law in Georgia. Superior organizational abilities with keen attention to detail. Proactive mindset with the ability to effectively multitask. Capacity to excel in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment. Mindset geared toward embracing AI to innovate and elevate everyday legal work. Education Juris Doctorate or equivalent. Certifications Bar license in Georgia.
